Privacy policy
Kerrland Realty Group is part of Bay Street KerrLand Realty., Brokerage. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Information you give us
When you send an enquiry, request a home valuation, register for an open house or a market report, or sign up for updates, we collect what you type into that form: your name, email address, and — if you provide them — your phone number, the areas you are interested in, and your message. Forms marked as required cannot be submitted without a name and email, because we cannot answer you otherwise. Everything else is optional, and leaving it blank does not stop us responding.
Information collected automatically
Essential technical information — the pages requested, the browser type, and the referring page — is processed to serve the site and keep it working. This does not identify you. Analytics is separate and only runs if you agree. When you accept analytics in the cookie dialog, two services load: Google Analytics 4, which measures traffic and how pages are used, and Pierview, which measures where visitors arrive from, including referrals from AI assistants. Pierview stores a randomly generated visitor identifier in your browser's local storage; Google Analytics uses its own identifiers with IP anonymisation switched on. If you choose “Essential only”, or close the dialog without choosing, neither service is loaded at all — not in a limited form, not later in the visit.
How your information is used
To reply to your enquiry and to provide the service you asked for. If you tick the marketing consent box, we will also send market updates and news. That box is never ticked for you, and consenting is never a condition of getting an answer. We record the exact consent wording you were shown and when you agreed, which is what CASL requires and what lets us prove we had your permission.
Who we share it with
Enquiries are delivered into Follow Up Boss, the customer relationship system this brokerage uses to make sure nothing is missed, and are handled by members of this team. Beyond that, we share personal information only with service providers who operate this website and its email delivery on our behalf, under contract and only for those purposes — and where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not trade or rent contact lists. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under the laws of that country.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and the consent record attached to them are kept for as long as we have a business relationship with you, and afterwards for the period the brokerage's record-keeping obligations require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can withdraw marketing consent at any time — every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect our ability to answer an enquiry you have already made. You can change your analytics choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the cookie dialog back. You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to the contact below and we will respond within the time PIPEDA allows.

Property listing data shown on this site is licensed from the real estate board and is subject to that licence. Saved searches and any account features record what you searched for so the feature can work.
